On the 21/22 November the sun moved into the sign of Sagittarius, marking the start of Sag season.
The constellation of Sagittarius has progressed from where it started centuries ago, so the movement is a symbolic calculation. The 12 major constellations are each given a 30 degree slice of the circular zodiac pie.
Yesterday I was innocently out and about, walking my dog and listening to a podcast. While trundling along I bought one book (from the podcast), and another, all with one click, seriyas! Amazons kindle purchase is a wicked sales weapon! Later, a pre-ordered book was also delivered. 3 books in one day! Abundant loveliness!

Jupiter is the biggest and brightest planet in the sky, which is why the ancients called it the greater benefic. This fortunate planet rules the sign of Sagittarius.
The symptoms of Sag season
You may find your attention wondering, and start daydreaming about doing the things you enjoy in life.

At its best Sag season represents truth, joy, optimism, hope, freedom, adventuring, expansive everything, faith. Think of a ruddy cheeked jovial Father Christmas magically delivering presents and wishes to the whole world as he chortles in mirth and winks at everyone who catches a glimpse.
At its worst it represents harmful excess, perhaps a bit of piousness, know it all stuff, and very little will to curtail overdoing things to harmful excess.
In the real world, if you’re not a Santa or famous rockstar, it means doing those things that lift your spirit, while trying to channel a bit of grownup-ness so it doesn’t go too far and get you into trouble! Live your joy!
During Sag season the abundant Jupiterian spirit overflows normal boundaries and inspires us all. It stokes the fires of our aspirations, brings fantastic visions, and jumpstarts big picture planning to manifest it.

This inspirational time is around until 21 December, so make good use of it! It doesn’t have to be a big thing, it can be making time to walk rescue pets, read the new book, or just sleep in. Make it happen!
