Mars and Venus are coming together this week. You may recognise the symbols that commonly represent male and female gender. In ancient symbology, these don’t represent gender as we know it. They are the glyphs for two personal planets that represent the daily desires of life.

Mars is a ‘yang’ action-orientated planet. It represents being driven by a burning hot passion, a fiery need to succeed. It is a courageous spirit warrior that forges forward to achieve our desires.

Venus is receptive ‘yin’ planet. It is associated with the luxurious Goddess of love in all her sensuous glory. 

There is likely to be a little devil and a little angel sitting on your shoulder for the next month. They can achieve win-win sexi-spiration if you let them :-).

These two planets represent the drives and desires that give us fun, excitement, and joy. Let yourself do the thing, experience the wonder, float away on a bubble of love, happiness and utter satiated “feel-good”. These are not big life changing long-term life changes. They are just the little things you can do for yourself right now to let forth a burst of happiness. Be sexy and inspirational!

Give in to your senses, have the decadent chocolate, have a glass of bubbles, read a whole book in the bathtub, drive to your favourite spot, have an impromptu picnic, do the wickedly wonderful thing that will make you smile.

Within hours of this fizzly (sexy and inspirational) connection, we have the full moon gloriously rising to the occasion.

The moon is bright and fabulous in Leo, shining her regal light on luxurious creativity and the well-being of all that are within our royal sphere of influence. Recognise your own special gifts, be proud of who you are, glow in self-confidence! Now is the time to let that light shine!

Love in the real World

In Tarot, Capricorn is the devil of our darker side, and Saturn is the tangible World card. The lesson is to integrate our angel AND devil to enjoy the best world we can.

The essence of love, care and comfort stretches way beyond Valentines day this year. It will be particularly strong in the two week wind-down to the new moon cycle, but it will be around for

the next month as the yin and yang energies hang out together. 

Take time to connect to what you love, in a tangible way.

There is an opportunity for a moment of fulfilment here. Take it.

Do the thing that fills your heart and spirit.

Clear your desk, doodle a bit, day dream, fill in your expense sheet, do a date night, stand up for something, or someone, share a sandwich, stroll around in the wind, have an ideation session, take a meal to a struggling neighbor, schedule in a family lunch.

The sky god

Jupiter is the ancient ruler of the sign Pisces (and Sagittarius). The sun moving into Pisces on 18/19 Feb kicks off the birthday celebrations of all the gentle Piscean sun signs among us.

Jupiter is the largest planet, which echoes in all the “King of the gods” myths that help us understand it’s symbolism – e.g. the roman god Jupiter, Greek god Zeus, and Indian ‘Guru’.

Jupiter is associated with leadership, light, and wisdom. It represents transcending earthly bonds, and reaching out to the pure spiritual world beyond. 

In the real world, Jupiter energies are about aspiring to what is right, teaching others, leadership, ethics and justice. 

If you have Pisces, Sagittarius or Jupiter prominent in your chart (on the 4 compass points / angles; a Rising, Sun, or moon sign), these Jupiterian attributes will be yearning to express themselves in the next month, even more than usual.

This time of Pisces is however also an opportunity for everyone to feel into and lead the way to the highest expression of ourselves. With the ruler Jupiter actually IN the sign of Pisces until mid-May, this force for good is strong for the next 3 months!

Feeling differently

Let’s go back to that first quote where Steve Job was narrating a ‘think different’ commercial. It’s about being brave enough to rebel against the status quo, to be different, innovate and invent a better way.

I invite you to consider that bright burning agent of change in a different light. How would it look and feel if that essence was softened into a kinder, gentler expression of thinking differently? Could you still be different if it wasn’t loud and proud or front and centre

YES! By thinking AND feeling differently.

This element of good offers opportunities for care and deep insight to our higher selves until mid-May.

Use this time to connect with kindness, and feel differently. Explore feeling held, cared for, and part of a spiritual existence that has more depth and breadth than we can imagine.

Imagine being part of all the water in the world, in your body, in your connections to others, the rain, and through all the oceans that join us.

There is a feeling of magic.  Allow yourself to go there, join in, feel differently - and add your magic to the world by doing so.

We start this fortnight with contemplating ways we can change the world – thinking differently. 

We then move into practically applying those thoughts in new ways within our own sphere of influence - doing it differently.

The fortnight closes out with the new moon on 2 March with the perfect expression of merging all that thinking, doing and feeling differently into a longer lasting strategic plan. Things that you can do, in your bubble, that change the world as we know it.

Use these two weeks to create new habits that fulfil you, and make the world a better place. Try a 'No Meat Monday', use all the contents of your pantry, share spoiled produce with creatures, share goodness with others.

Think different, do different, feel different, and you WILL change the world.
